Order
Once you have placed an order we will send you an email confirming the order details and our acceptance of your order. Please ensure that your email, contact address, and telephone information that you provide is correct.

Once we have received conformation of payment we will endeavour to dispatch your order within 5 working days though please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery, longer for outside the UK. We will contact you by email or telephone when order has been dispatched.

Should you require your order sooner we can send special delivery at extra cost to yourselves.

Please note
We will do everything to meet the delivery times, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will however inform you of any possible delay.

Prices and charges
We accept all methods of payment through “ paypal”. Please refer to their website for information on the security measures that are taken.

If Paypal has rejected your credit card or debit card payment we will be unable to process your order and will notify you of this.

We will require the address of your credit card or debit card used should you order more than two items and should the delivery address be different.

We try to ensure that all product information and pricing displayed on this web site is correct and up to date at the time you place an order. In the event of an error we will contact you by email or phone before accepting your order.

Postage and Packaging Charges
The Chess sets and boards are posted by royal mail. Charges are at £5 per item ordered. For example two items ordered would incur a £10 delivery charge. The maximum delivery charge is £10.

Please contact us for charges for delivery outside of the UK.
Outside of the UK is subject to your own country’s tax and custom laws that may incur an additional payment on receipt of your goods that Buy Chess sets has no control of and is not liable for. We will not pay any of these additional costs.

At request from you we can send your purchase by special delivery, or courier this will incur an extra charge, and we will notify you of this extra charge.

Out of Stock
Should an item be out of stock at the time your order is placed, we will contact you either by phone or email.

Cancellations and Refunds
If the goods arrive in good condition and you wish to cancel the order within 7 days of receiving your order. Please return the goods to us in the same good condition as received and we will refund the cost. We cannot refund any postage paid.

We take great steps to ensure that your chess set does not arrive in poor condition, however should you receive it damaged please return within 7 days to us and we will refund or exchange at your request at no extra charge to you. Please contact us by email before returning.

Photographic Reproduction
The colour of the product on line is as accurate as photographic and electronic processes can show.

Buy Chess Sets cannot be held responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by internet link or by e-mail, any such loss shall be entirely your responsibility.

Our Chess Sets and Boards are not toys and not intended for young children to play with. Small parts can be a choking hazard. Parent supervision is advisable with young children. Buy Chess Sets and associates cannot be held responsible for any mistreatment of the products sold through Buy chess sets.
